Participate in legislative outreach
The Nevada Legislature will begin its 81st session on Feb. 1. Travel Nevada will focus its public affairs efforts on raising awareness of the importance of tourism to Nevada’s economy, and on explaining the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on our industry. We encourage all our partners to help us tell this story.
Later this month, we will be releasing a partner toolkit with social media graphics of tourism data, talking points, a sample op-ed and more to help you communicate this information in your communities.
Additionally, Travel Nevada will email legislative updates to partners throughout the session and plans a robust social media campaign on our industry-facing Twitter and Facebook accounts (@nvtourism). As part of that social media effort, we will be sharing “partner testimonials,” short statements on how tourism impacts your business and your community.
