India or Bust!
The Nevada Legislature approved funding for tourism representation in India, opening us to the largest potential travel market in the world after China. The reason that India is so lucrative is that its middle class is already 450 million strong and growing, and more than 50 million Indian travelers have passports. Half the traveling population travels overseas to shop, and there are strong airline connections between India and the western United States.
The Nevada Division of Tourism is in the middle of a formal RFP process to select the most qualified representative firm.
