Road trip itineraries featuring communities throughout Nevada are the focus of the 2019 Travel Nevada Visitor’s Guide. Destination marketing organizations and businesses that would like copies of the book to give to visitors should contact Lindsey John at [email protected]. Visitors also can order individual copies at Travel Nevada.com.

The 124-page guide features 10 adventure-filled road trips throughout the state, from the starkly beautiful Death Drive to the classic Loneliest Road in America.

“Nevada is THE road trip state, offering an amazing spectrum of exploration and experiences,” Brenda Nebesky, interim director of the Nevada Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, said. “This guide is designed to help you build your own customized adventure itinerary.”

Graphic icons placed throughout the book indicate specialized content on such topics as food, adventure or “new to the scene,” to help readers find the information they need. Also in this guide: a new “Nevada Inspirations” section that gives context to the state through stories about retro Las Vegas (courtesy of former Nevada Lt. Gov. Lorraine Hunt) and tales of famous former residents (Mark Twain and Wyatt Earp among them.)

Be sure to check out QR code on page 83 linking to a video of rock climbing in Rainbow Canyon. The guide also serves up information on quirky attractions, ghost towns, state museums, arts and culture, outdoor recreation and more.
