Travel Nevada Hits the Big Apple
On May 27, Travel Nevada hosted a media reception in New York City to highlight new JetBlue air service into RNO, starting May 28.
The event featured immersive video and photography of scenes from Nevada, as well as notable guests including Olympic Gold Medalist and World Cup Champion, Jonny Moseley; Cowboy Poetry Legend Waddie Mitchell; Reno Restaurateur Mark Estee; Virginia City lore with Doc Durden; Picon Punch demonstration; an interactive blackjack experience and more. Dozens of travel writers and other media were in attendance, including USA Today, Wall Street Journal, New York Daily News and many others.
The Travel Nevada team also conducted desk-side appointments with writers who were unable to attend the event.
