New content, features planned
User-generated content, augmented reality features and an expanded print run are planned for the 2019 Travel Nevada Visitors Guide. The guide will retain the road trip itineraries that cover Nevada’s rural and urban communities, supported by user-generated stories and photos from Nevada travelers. Augmented reality technology similar to that used on the 2018 Nevada Arts, Culture and Heritage Guide will allow viewers to scan pages to see video. Additionally, the guide’s print run has expanded to 225,000 copies. The guide’s planned distribution date is in January 2019.
