Travel Nevada and Nevada Magazine release new guides

Travel Nevada in June released its first-ever arts, culture, and heritage guide designed specifically with cultural travelers in mind. The 79-page book spotlights characters, events and places to entice cultural/heritage travelers to explore the state. The cover features Paiute elder Ralph Burns dancing near the Virginia Mountains and also comes to life to show movement using augmented-reality technology. It can be viewed by downloading the free Layar app available on iTunes and Google Play, and then scanning the cover image. To receive copies of the guide please contact Allie Whalen at awhalen@Travel Nevada.com. The guide can also be explored online at Travel Nevada.com/artsguide18.

In addition, Nevada Magazine has unveiled its 2018-2019 Touring Nevada Rides Guide. This guide is designed to fit in your pocket while traveling across the state by motorcycle, RV or a family car. It features more than 2,700 miles of road trips and itineraries that can be broken down by western, northern, eastern, southern and central tours. Information about motorcycle events, Nevada trivia and tips for driving through the desert also are included. It is available for partners who want to distribute. For copies, contact Adele Hoppe at Nevada Magazine at [email protected]
