There is nowhere better to commemorate Independence Day than the patriotic Battle Born state or one of its old towns where the West was won. Nevada bleeds red, white and blue for the holiday, embracing its wild western roots.
Virginia City Fourth of July Celebration
Celebrate Independence Day in one of Nevada’s most iconic western mining towns, Virginia City. The oldest town in Nevada hosts some high country traditions that draw visitors from around the world. Red, White, and Tahoe Blue
Attend one of the best fireworks shows in the country this Fourth of July in beautiful Lake Tahoe. Along with beach access, the Reno Philharmonic Orchestra is performing on Village Green. There are more than 20 events in the Incline Village and Crystal Bay area, including a parade, concerts, a veterans tribute, rubber duck races, and several kids’ activities. John Ascuaga’s Nugget presents its 16th annual Star Spangled Sparks fireworks show this Independence Day. Star Spangled Sparks will have the biggest fireworks display in the Northern Nevada area.
