Annaliese Anderson joins Travel Nevada as social media specialist

CARSON CITY, Nevada — Annaliese “Ali” Anderson joins Travel Nevada as Social Media Specialist, tasked with overseeing Travel Nevada’s consumer-facing social channels.  

Anderson’s career started in local media as a news producer with KOLO 8 News Now, where her role ranged from show production on Good Morning Reno to overseeing and managing their website and social media. From there, Anderson took her career path to the City of Reno Housing Authority, establishing partnerships, promoting employment and programs, and fundraising. Her latest venture was with Carson Tahoe Health, capturing stories, developing social media and researching content for various outlets. As of today, Anderson can confidently say that she has landed in a position with the state that she deems a ‘dream role.’

Kawchack, Deputy Director. “Social media is a crucial piece of our integrated marketing strategy and Ali’s enthusiasm for the state and her knowledge of social media across industries makes her a great addition to Travel Nevada’s marketing department.”

Anderson, a University of Nevada – Reno (UNR) graduate, has called the Silver State home for more than 25 years and looks forward to developing unique organic content for Travel Nevada’s audience and engaging with online audiences.
