Nevada Small Business Development Center: A great resource if you’re just getting starting. The SBA offers tools, classes, and advisement for navigating the business-creation process as well as resources for management and administration.
Small Business Administration: Contact the SBA for information on funding and business loans as well as tools for starting and growing your business.
Nevada Nonprofit Center: If you’re looking to start or expand a nonprofit, the nonprofit center offers a support network as well as tools and resources.
Nevada GrantLab: Also for nonprofits, this organization helps Nevada organizations find, apply for, and manage federal grants.

University of Nevada—Reno | Extension: The university offers a wide range of agricultural training programs including organic-crop training, beekeeping, high-desert gardening, home horticulture certification, and much more.
USDA Rural Business Development Grants: RBDG program provides grant money to assist with economic development planning and/or the financing or expansion of rural businesses.
Travel Nevada Rural Pitch Contest: At this annual contest, Nevada small businesses pitch their business idea. Winners receive a $20,000 grant.
Rural Marketing Grants: Check out Travel Nevada’s rural marketing grants to see if they’re right for your operation.
