Ferenc Szony is chief operating officer of Herbst Gaming, Inc. and has more than two decades of experience in the hotel/casino entertainment and travel industry. He is deeply committed to Nevada’s tourism industry, serving on the Nevada Commission on Tourism since 1994 and the boards of Reno’s Downtown Improvement Association and ARTOWN summer arts festival. Mr. Szony was recognized as the casino industry’s top performing CEO in the HVS International’s 2004 Gaming Industry Value Index.
