Prior to being appointed a commissioner, Mrs. Hunt-Bono served two terms as Nevada’s lieutenant governor, from 1999-2007, during which she presided over the Nevada Commission on Tourism as chair. Mrs. Hunt-Bono has a lengthy leadership record in the public and private sector and has received numerous honors, including the first lifetime achievement award for the Governor’s Conference on Tourism. She is a Las Vegas restaurateur and former nightclub singer, who still performs at her Bootlegger Bistro.
