Cindy Carano is executive director of Hotel Operations and Retail for the Eldorado Hotel and Casino in Reno, where she began in 1985 as a reservation supervisor, working her way up to hotel manager and hotel director. In 1997, she went to New Mexico to manage a group of Santa Fe inns, returning to the Eldorado in 2003 as community relations manager. Her community activities include chairing the Nevada Women’s Fund, serving on the Nevada Hotel and Lodging Association board and American Heart Association.
